BERNADETTE DEVLIN MCALISKEY INTERVIEW FROM 1990'S

I’ll be interviewing fellow Yellow Cabbie Khakendra Pun from Nepal, who was featured on the hit YouTube show Keep the Meter Running. We’ll talk about what has happened to his family back home in Nepal.

I’ll then finish the show with a tape from an old Radio Free Eireann broadcast recorded live at Paddy Reilly’s on 2nd Avenue in the early 1990s. Bernadette Devlin McAliskey spoke about the ongoing peace process at the time.

Also on that show were my fellow host Brian Mór Ó Baoighill, writer Terry Galway discussing his book about John Devoy, Malachy McCourt, Sandy Boyer, and music by Black 47.

I’ll also share some pictures from the old WBAI studio at 35th Street and 8th Avenue.
