CELEBRATE ST. BRIGIDS DAY WITH MUSIC OF MARY COURTNEY

I’ll be playing the music of Mary Courtney , the renowned New York–based Irish traditional singer originally from Castlegregory, County Kerry. New York Irish Center  will honored Mary, with the  Treasa Goodwin-Smyth and Aisling Reidy, at its 4th annual “Women of Ireland”. 
I’ll also be joined by George Heslin , Executive Director of the New York Irish Arts Center in Queens, as they celebrate St. Brigid’s Day—and the city officially names a street after the center.
Plus, there’s a mysterious van spotted driving through Belfast, emblazoned with the words “Report Fenian Activity.” We’ll play what it actually says when you report something.
And I’ll wrap things up with a clip from Nicolas Heller New York Nico’s new internet show Revival of the Fittest, where I hold forth on the fine art of cooking.
