WBAI-NYC Upcoming Program

Tune in for a special tribute to Irish journalist, playwright, and civil rights campaigner Nell McCafferty. We'll also hear from volunteers at the East Wall Men’s Shed, the group that crafted Malachy McCourt's Urn for when his ashes return to Ireland this October. These volunteers work out of an old industrial unit, providing a social and creative space for each other while supporting various community projects. Last year, they even created prop New York mailboxes for Bronx performer Annie Rachele Lanzillotto. Additionally, I’ll share some thoughts on the Democratic National Convention.
