Synopsis:

LORRAINE TOUSSAINT TALKS SUNDANCE, THE GLORIAS

** "There are five Glorias in this film, and I play Flo Kennedy, an icon who hasn't gotten the credit she deserves. An outrageous character and extraordinarily profane, brilliant and outspoken - Flo rocked."

Sundance Film Festival: A Conversation With Lorraine Toussaint. The star of 'Orange Is The New Black' as Vee, discusses the premiere at Sundance of 'The Glorias' with Julianne Moore as Gloria Steinem - a page to screen adaptation of Steinem's memoir, 'My Life On The Road.'

Along with the actress delving into related topics of mass incarceration, and playing an undocumented immigrant and the voice of God in movies. Also, reflections from Steinem, and Toussaint performs her favorite poem.

** "The goal not stated on these movie conglomerates moving online, is to use serial TV as a way to harvest data on users to sell the data to advertisers - allowing the entertainment complexes to become full fledged members of the surveillance economy."

Bro On The Global Television Beat: Watching, or Being Watched? Arts Express Paris Correspondent Professor Dennis Broe takes a look at trends, and what's worth watching - or not.

Screening Room: The Washing Society. Spotlighting the invisible workers in this Lynne Sachs documentary, who 'fold the clothes, maintain the machines, and know your secrets.' Along with The Washing Society Atlanta laundress workers strike and uprising back in 1881.

Plus...Slamdance, Year By Year poetry reading; The Paris Opera on strike performing for the rebel French masses in the streets...

...And James Dean, McCarthyism and US Imperialism.
