ACTOR AUSTIN PENDLETON ON THE 25TH ANNIVSERSARY PRODUCTION OF HIS PLAY ORSON'S SHADOW

On tonight's show, we'll be joined by playwright/director/actor Austin Pendleton ato celebrate the 25th Anniversary of his play, Orson's Shadow, about a tug-of-war between two titanic theatrical divas, Orson Welles and Laurence Olivier, each at critical moments of their careers, as one directs the other in a London production of Ionesco's Rhinoceros (along with their famous intermediaries, the scoughing and stuttering critic, Kenneth Tynan, Olivier's mad movie star wife, Vivien Leigh, and his future wife, the actress Joan Plowright).
