FOOD, GLORIOUS FOOD! MAKING SENSE OF THE FOOD SYSTEM
Thousands of volunteers work long hours to feed the hungry. There are many agencies and organizations set up to help, but sometimes they lose track of what is really going on with the hungry.
This week we talk with Jannie Wolff of The Good News Foundation, who goes into the field to find out who is being helped and who isn't and why or why not. The goal is getting the highest quality and healthiest food to people and empowering youth, families and communities to live in abundance beyond Thanksgiving.
Also joining us is Jalal Sabur, the founder of Freedom Food Alliance and their alliance builder and community glue. He brings his vision and connectivity to the Alliance's projects, The Victory Bus and Sweet Freedom Farm. His aspirations are to bring a wide-spread network of people together under the mission to build farms not prisons.
