GRACE RAUH ON NYC'S CHILD CARE AGENDA
On the Thursday, August 6 episode of City Watch on WBAI 99.5 FM NY, host Jeff Simmons speaks with Grace Rauh, Executive Director of Citizens Union, about the organization’s latest work to promote accountable government, strengthen elections and improve civic life across New York City.
The conversation will focus on childcare—an issue Citizens Union and its 5BORO Institute have championed as essential to New York’s affordability and economic future. Since taking office, Mayor Zohran Mamdani has made universal childcare a central priority, launching the city’s first free 2-K program, expanding 3-K seats and introducing new tools to help families find care.
