Co-host Stephen Rohde examines the controversy of whether Jewish and Israeli writers are being excluded from the American publishing industry. Joining Stephen will be Professor Dinaw Mengestu who resigned as president of PEN America, the international writer's organization dedication to freedom of expression. He recently resigned from PEN America in part because of this controversy.

Stephen then learns more about the decriminalization of the sex worker industry. Returning guest Professor Alex Vitale is the co-producer of a new documentary titled Sex Work Its Just A Job. Professor Vitale argues that the moralistic view of sex workers detracts from their lived experience and creates a more dangerous environment for them.
