"AS I PLEASE" FOR APRIL

This Week on Everything Old Is New Again - Again, we present

"As I Please" for April

On this week’s broadcasts, we have a lot to cover. Spring is here I hear! April showers bring May flowers and all that. But grateful for the warm weather till that Blackberry Winter comes without a warning. I’ve got lots of new releases to share with you. I will chat with Tony Award Nominee Sally Mayes about her show Contradiction of the Southern Soul currently in performance at United Solo. It is the 40th Anniversary of Revue by Curt Davis which opened and ran for 4 weeks at Don’t Tell Mama in April of 1986 with a cast that included Karen Mason, Craig Pomranz, Teresa Burrell, Bradshaw Smith, Laura Roth, Eileen Valentino, (Nancy LaMott filled in for Karen one week) Michael McAssay on Piano. Oh and me! Yeah! Me!

I’ve got magic to do in terms of fundraising for WBAI!!! Help me keep it alive and ever-expanding like the Great American Songbook! Pledge Please. Now or during the broadcast. It’s easy to do. Go to www.wbai.org. Pledge in the name of Everything Old Is New Again!
Tune in to both the Sunday and Saturday rebroadcast on  It’ll be fun…I promise!

Of course, your requests and suggestions are always welcomed! Email those requests to oldisnewradio@gmail.com

We continue the Everything Old is New Again / NiteLife Exchange Weekly Live Music Calendar. Presented by Scott Barbarino – Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of NiteLife Exchange.
