As she prepares to step down after 25 years at the Electronic Frontier Foundation, her new book Privacy's Defender: My Thirty-Year Fight Against Digital Surveillance comes out this month on Mitpress.
From the landmark Bernstein v. Department of Justice, which established code as protected speech, to major challenges to NSA mass surveillance, her work reshaped the legal terrain of the internet. 

We're then joined by political theorist Laura K. Field, author of Furious Minds: The Making of the MAGA New Right, she exposes how this ideology was built and why it remains so dangerous.Drawing on rigorous research and her own experience inside the movement, Field explains why confronting its ideas—not just its figureheads—is essential to defending a pluralistic democracy.
