Co-hosts Michael Smith and Maria Hall Heidi Boghosian and Stephen Rohde learn about the details of the current threats from nuclear war as the hands of Doomsday Clock are expected to move forward closer to midnight this week. Our guest Paul Jay is an award-winning journalist, filmmaker, and describes the little known histories of the Cold War that have led up to where we are today. His groundbreaking documentary titled, How to Stop a Nuclear War, is set to be released in the fall of 2027.
We then speak with author Chip Gibbons about National Security Presidential Memorandum 7, he is the Policy Director of Defending Rights and Dissent. We discuss President Trump's memorandum supplemented by Pam Bondi's memorandum that clearly threatens to the crush the left. Chip is the author of the forthcoming book The Imperial Bureau: the FBI, Political Surveillance, and the Rise of the US National Security State.
