A FAMILY DRAMA: IN THE SHADOW OF HER FATHER
On tonight’s show we’ll be joined by actor/producer and founding director of The Simon Studio, Roger Hendrick Simon to discuss his starring role in The Simon Studio’s production of In the Shadow of Her Father, a family drama, set in rural Ohio, about a Middle Eastern woman, her adoptive and alcoholic Vietnam Vet father, and an Egyptian stranger, all struggling with traumatic events of their pasts and alternating hope and despair for their futures.
The play is produced by The Simon Studio, established in 1978 as a theatre/film/tv and audio training, development and production center. Its nique Professional Lab class combines acgtors, directors, writers and industry guests assisting projects to emerge as productions.
