Indigenous people have a wisdom that includes the well being of Earth, animals, plants, and future generations. The philosophy of a holistic approach to all beings and the entire environment is ingrained in native cultures. Indigenous peoples are diverse and don't speak as one, but certain things like respect for Mother Earth are common to all.

We often hear Indigenous people refer to everything from animals to mountains and rivers to the moon as relatives. We'll go into detail on just what that means. How does Native American spirituality differ from other spiritual practices?
