Animal Matters returns on Sunday, April 6 with a packed show!


Hosts Carol Anne Riddell, Jeff Simmons and Carlos Menchaca first sit down with Alexandra Silver, the Director of the Mayor’s Office of Animal Welfare, to discuss NYC’s pet policies, animal shelters, and the laws about what animals you can and cannot have.


Then listeners will learn about an innovative program giving animatronic pets to older adults in New York State, reducing isolation and providing companionship when the hosts talk with Greg Olsen, Acting Director of the New York State Office for the Aging.
