FILMMAKER ROSEMARIE REED ON "FORGETTING THE MANY: THE ROYAL PARDON OF ALAN TURING"
On tonight’s show we’ll be joined by filmmaker Rosemarie Reed to discuss her new film Forgetting the Many: The Royal Pardon of Alan Turing which addresses the tortured life of the great World War II Nazi codebreaker Alan Turing, one of the many victims of the United Kingdom’s anti-gay laws still on the books in parts of the UK -- most cruelly in Nigeria and other African countries -- to this day. Forgetting the Many: The Royal Pardon of Alan Turing opens on December 6 and plays till December 12 at Cinema Village, 112 East 12th Street in the West Village.
