BLACK WOMEN FILMMAKERS: ADIFF 2024
Tune in for our conversation with two filmmakers whose projects will be screened during the 32nd Annual African Diaspora International Film Festival (ADIFF) scheduled for November 29 - December 15, 2024 in NYC.
Director Luchina Fisher will talk about "Locked Out," a film that deals with Black women and their fight to rise above the housing crisis, and director Jessica Chaney will give us insights about her film,"I AM," which tackles the issue of mental health in the African-American community with candid and revealing interviews with five Black women.
Find out why these women produce work that centers Black women and learn about ADIFF's ongoing commitment to present films that explore the human experience of people of color all over the world on the next Backstage Stories.
