IN CONVERSATION WITH SHADAWN SMITH & MARGARET MADHI

We'll speak with two women who run institutions that place Black stories center stage. First, we'll engage in an extensive conversation with Shadawn Smith of The Billie Holiday Theatre about the theatre's upcoming series, "The Black Narrative." Second, we'll have a quick but informative chat with Margaret Madhi. Her Chicago-based company, Madhi Theatre Company is making its New York premiere of "Bronzeville: The Musical" at The Historic Apollo Theatre.
