On tonight’s show we’ll be joined filmmaker Emily Packer whose new film Holding Back the Tide is an impressionistic documentary that follows the oyster through its many life cycles in New York, once the world’s oyster capital, poetically exploring the history, drama, sexuality and biology of the bivalve that built the city.
