LAW AND DISORDER AUGUST 5, 2024

Co-hosts attorneys Stephen Rohde and Maria Hall talk with L.A. County District Attorney George Gascon who will share his perspective on ways to improve upon the California criminal legal system. These improvements include better ways to address public safety, crime, prosecution, and sentencing, including a full reevaluation of the death penalty. Attorney Gascon is the first Latino to hold that office, and the nation’s first Police Chief to become D.A.

Hosts are then joined by California death row inmate Bill Clark who has been in prison for 33 years. This is a rare and heartfelt interview from prison, offering a glimpse into the life of a man who despite the time served, stays strong and maintains his innocence. Petitions and court rulings could yield a critical resentencing in his case allowing Bill Clark to be a free man.
