About Dr. James C. McIntosh

Dr. James C. McIntosh, is a retired Psychiatrist who over a 40 year career practiced in all 5 boroughs of New York. He is a graduate of Brooklyn Technical High School, Hunter College of The City University of New York and New Jersey Medical School of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (Rutgers).

He completed 3 years of internship and residency in the Columbia University Psychiatry Program at Harlem Hospital. He also completed a joint year of Fellowship and Residency in Public and Community Psychiatry at Montefiore Hospital of Einstein Medical School of Yeshiva University. Dr. McIntosh was the founder and owner of The Interns and Residents Licensing Review School which operated successfully between 1987 and 1991.

He is the Past Executive Director and Medical Director of Upper Manhattan Health Center. He has also served as a Medical Director at Services for the Under Served and Fortune Society. He is the Co-Chair and Co-founder of CEMOTAP, the past Chairman of the Board for the Education of People of African Ancestry (John Henrik Clarke House) and a past two term president of The Committee of Interns and Residents (CIR), the nation’s largest union of salaried physicians

Dr. McIntosh has made many appearances on TV and Radio including Gil Noble’s Like it Is program and Imhotep Gary Byrd’s Global Black Experience. Dr. McIntosh was co-host of the Cable TV series “The CEMOTAP Drum” and the co- host and co producer of a Radio program of the same name on WWRL. He is the author of several books, including The Unauthorized Psychoanalysis of Donald J. Trump, The Unauthorized Psychoanalysis of Rudolph Giuliani, That Which Cannot Be Destroyed, State Rape, Prosecutorial Misconduct, and The Artist Formerly Known as Imhotep. He currently writes for the Black Star Newspaper and CEMOTAP Drum. He is a frequent contributor to the Amsterdam News and is a former columnist for the Daily Challenge Newspaper, New York City's only Black Daily Newspaper. Dr. McIntosh served as Co-chair of the Queens Million Man March Coordinating Committee for the first Million Man March. He is a co-founder of United African Movement and was the first chairman of the U.A.M. Health Committee. He was the founder and first moderator of their famed speaker series at the Slave Theater.

Dr. McIntosh was awarded The Malcolm X award from the New York Chapter of NAKO (National Association of Kawaida Organizations and was chosen as Health Activist of the Year by the Family and Friends of Dr. Mutulu Shakur. Dr. McIntosh has also received awards from numerous community and Civic organizations including, The UNIA -ACL, The Bed Stuy School of Martial Arts, The NAACP, The Coop City African American Association, The Science Skills Center, Mosque Number 7 of the Nation of Islam, Women in Support of The Million Man March, The Christian Times Newspaper, The Coalition to Elect a Black Mayor, CEMOTAP, and 100 Blacks in Law Enforcement Who Care. Dr. McIntosh is a proud husband, father and grandfather. He is a past winner of Father of The Year Award from a coalition of organizations including The Southern Queens Park Association and The Queens Million Man March Coordinating Committee.

About Richardeanea Theodore

Richardeanea Theodore is a registered nurse, a family therapist, clinical nurse specialist, an educator, administrator, student of public policy; and a long time Community activist. Her earned credentials include a Master of Education degree from New York University, Master of Public Policy Administration from Baruch College; Certification in Family Therapy Counseling from The State University of New York, and an Advanced Practice Nurse (Clinical Nurse Specialist) Certification in New York State. She has used these credentials to promote community health, health education and health equity throughout her career. She is a former Associate Dean of a School of Nursing and has served as the Director of Nursing Operation for several City hospitals. Her Community Activities have included serving as President of the Bed-Stuy Early Childhood Center Chairperson of the Health Committee of the Black United Front. She has also served on the Community Board of Kings County Hospital and was a Charter member of The Sickle Cell Committee of Kings County Hospital. Richardeanea her citations include being listed in Who’s Who in American Nursing and receiving New York State, Certification of Excellence awarded by United University Professions. Richardeanea is currently completing the requirements for a Ph.D. in Public Policy Administration.
