May Day 2026: Workers Over Billionaires

Hosted by Jenna Flanagan of WBAI-New York and Norman Stockwell of The Progressive Magazine and WORT Madison, WI.

Friday, May 1, 2026, 12 - 5PM ET

Pacifica Network News will bring live May Day coverage of workers, educators, unions and communities demanding workers over billionaires.

The broadcast will feature interviews and roundtables with movement leaders and union representatives, including voices from the American Federation of Teachers, Southern Service Workers and global trade unions, on education, government corruption, healthcare and services for workers.

Historians will revisit labor movements and the history of May Day, with audio from the Pacifica Radio Archives, street reports from cities across the country and international voices from Cuba, Palestine and South Africa.

Supported by unions representing 5 million households.
