The Impact of the Admininistration's Cutbacks on Aging Queer Communities -
Tune to OUT FM on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 from 8 to 9 PM Eastern time on 99.5 FM WBAI New York tonight when we will be joined by four senior Black Lesbians, as we engage in a critical discussion with Mary Anne Adams, Wilhelmina Perry, Janyce Jackson Jones -
Wilhelmina and Mary Anne will start off describing the impact that the administration’s policies and cuts will/are have on our aging queer communities, especially with regard to the Social Security, Medicaid and Medicare cuts. -
We will then hear from Nosente Abadeet Uhuti, who is currently working as an advocate on aging, and she will give us a first hand perspective on how these cuts are affecting our black and lesbian communities currently and what to expect in fut -
Lastly, we will hear from Janyce Jackson Jones with solutions or action plans that can employed in order to survive these very serious cuts to our services and programs. -
