Synopsis: We speak with three filmmakers whose projects will be screened during the 32nd Annual African Diaspora International Film Festival (ADIFF) scheduled for November 29 - December 15, 2024 in NYC.
Director Luchina Fisher will talk about "Locked Out," a film that deals with Black women and their fight to rise above the housing crisis, and director Jessica Chaney and producer Amanda Willoughby will give us insights about their film,"I AM: Breaking the Silence on Mental Health," which tackles the issue of mental health in the African-American community with candid and revealing interviews with five Black women.
