Foreign policy is our focus on Black Agenda Radio this week. We are joined by the author of a new book on Chinese socialism in the 21st century, who explains why the U.S. and its allies are so hostile to the People’s Republic of China as it seeks peace and cooperation. But in our first interview we hear from Dr. Gerald Horne, who analyzes U.S. foreign policy as the Ukraine conflict grinds on and discusses why new powers emerge as the U.S. tries to maintain domination, and falters in the process.
Dr. Gerald Horne is an author and historian who currently holds the John J. and Rebecca Moores Chair of History and African American Studies at the University of Houston. Secretary of State Antony Blinken is currently meeting in Beijing, China will Xi Jinping and other officials. The Ukrainian counter offensive is not going in Ukraine’s favor. Dr. Horne discusses these issues with Black Agenda Radio.
