    Synopsis:

April is both "Sexual Assault Awareness Month" and "National Poetry Month"!

Our first segment will be an interview with Sophie Sandberg, who created the popular initiative, Catcalls of NYC, a group which raises awareness about street harassmentthrough colorful chalk art, women sharing their experiences on Facebook, Instagram and twitter, as well as street actions. Sophie co-leads Chalk Back, a global youth-led movement of stenciling and public art and writing against street harassment. We'll be talking about the public harassment of women, its pervasiveness, the global women's movement against it and its relation to sexual assault. We'll also announce street actions planned as the weather wars up.

Our second segment will be the poetry of acclaimed poet Deborah Hauser, who will read her moving, and wittily biting poetry dealing with the normalization of sexual assault of women in our society.

The show will also include the Feminist News Roundup
