We talked about about the pandemic and the march of the Omicron variant.

We talked about deer in Iowa being infected with COVID-19. We gave a short rundown of animal vectors of other deseases, and pointed to the potential danger of a huge pool of deer helping the virus to  mutate.

We talked about NASA's Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) Mission to smack a small asteroid and so affect the trajectory of a larger asteroid.
