We talked some more about the COVID-19 pandemic. We talked about the World Health Organization saying that the previously feared mu variant of the SARS-CoV-2 virus is accounting for less than 1% of the new cases of COIVD-19.

We talked about the discovery of the previously hypothetical Type~3 supernova. Turns out they really do happen.

We talked about the so-called People's Republic of China taking up the regulation of video games. They plan to ban video games that do not show "correct values." What they're banning is any portrayal of "effeminate males," and the promotion of same-sex relationships. Yeah, homophobia in the workers' paradise.
