John Leguizamo is an award-winning multifaceted creator with a career that spans theater, television, film and literature. His recent work includes the Netflix Series “When They See Us” and the Paramount Television series “Waco.” Today, we’ll speak to him about his life, career, and “Waiting for Godot,” a hybrid production that is theatrical invention and innovative filmmaking. Written by Samuel Beckett and directed by Scott Elliott, “Waiting for Godot” features John, Ethan Hawke, Tarik Trotter, Wallace Shawn, and Drake Bradshaw. The production is part of the Off-Stage series produced by The New Group and No Studios and is streaming at TheNewGroup.org now through June 30, 2021.
