More places are opening up, in some states they're opening up as their Covid~19 numbers are climbing. Meanwhile, in New York State infection rates have dropped to where they had been in late November, before the post-Thanksgiving surge.

Pickles of the North talked about getting her second Covid~19 vaccination and the drama around it.

We talked about what fools the Republicans are being by railing against precautions to prevent the spread of a potentially deadly disease.

We talked about the statistics for people who've gotten vaccinated being really excellent. The percentage of people who've gotten vaccinated but who got Covid-19 anyway is only 0.008%.

We reported that, "On Wednesday March 31st, 2021, the Pacifica National Board reached an agreement with the FJC Foundation, the provider of a $3.1 million dollar loan, to extend the maturity date of the loan for 18 months."

• For those who need some help getting started with Gnu Privacy Guard there is Gentle GPG which does a lot of the work for you.

• For the somewhat more advanced user who wants to protect his or her privacy there is the Tails OS. Tails is a live operating system that you can start on almost any computer from a USB flash drive or a DVD.
