Saturdays 8:30 – 10:30 AM: Any Saturday
Theater, music, interviews, social commentary, and the fleetingly famous.
Join David Rothenberg for discount theater tickets, great music of many decades, discussions of arts, politics and criminal justice, a quiz about those formerly in the news, and forthright social commentary by a man who fearlessly goes out on a limb. And among other things you’ll have opportunities to go to the theater and support the station.

You can read David's commentary Out On a Limb on his blog and see more about the show.

Mario Murillo in Colombia
Veteran WBAI Producer Mario Murillo, the regular host of Friday's Wake Up Call, is currently living in Colombia until mid-January, teaching at Javeriana University in Bogotá, and working on a book about the indigenous movement and its communication programs. He is traveling throughout the country and will be reporting regularly on recent developments in Colombia for Wake UP Call. He has established a blog about his trip, and hopes to keep in touch with WBAI listeners while there.

Do you have questions about the 9/11 World Trade Center & Pentagon Attacks?
If you were less than satisfied with the Federal government's official investigation of the 9/11 World Trade Center and Pentagon Attacks, you are not alone.  To find out more about an effort to establish a referendum for a citizens-based, independent 9/11 investigation, go to www.nyc911initiative.org. Petition signatures are being gathered now for a ballot question in the November elections asking voters if they want a citizen's-based re-investigation of the 9/11 attacks. Find out more at www.nyc911initiative.org.

Pacifica Radio Archives
In the Daily News on May 5th, David Hinckley did a story on the Pacifica radio archives. See Pacifica has a project of historic proportions. The archives consist of roughly 40,000 broadcasts, some over 50 years old. They are available for free at www.pacificaradioarchives.com.
