"The Tragedy at Marsdon Manor" is not a full novel, but a Hercule Poirot short story written by Agatha Christie, first published in 1923 in The Sketch and later included in the collection Poirot Investigates. In the story, Poirot investigates the suspicious death of a wealthy country squire who had recently taken out a large life insurance policy, leading Poirot to uncover a murder rather than a suicide.
