Pope's Resignation Could Affect Criminal Prosecutions For Sexual Abuse By Priests

Pope Benedict XVI's announcement that he will retire at the end of February could have an impact on efforts to find justice for the thousands of people who were victims of childhood sexual abuse by priests.  WBAI's Andrea Sears spoke with Pam Spees, a senior staff attorney at the Center for Constitutional Rights which has filed a criminal complaint against high Vatican officials and the Pope for personally for his role in the coverup of crimes.
