NDAA Amendment May Not Stop Indefinite Detentions Of US Citizens

Late Tuesday afternoon the Senate passed the 2013 National Defense Authorization Act, or NDAA, laying out the military spending priorities for the coming year. The bill contains an amendment that its sponsors say addresses those concerns. But speaking with WBAI’s Andrea Sears, Tangerine Bolen, one of the plaintiffs in the lawsuit against last year’s law, says the amendment doesn’t fix the problem.
