Environmentalists in New Jersey today called on the two houses of the state legislature to over-ride Governor Christie’s veto of a bill that would ban the dumping of fracking waste water in the Garden State.
Governor Christie vetoed the proposed law last Friday on the grounds that it would violate the constitutional commerce law that prohibits a state from enacting legislation that discriminates against another state.
