As budget negotiations continue in Albany a behind the scenes struggle has been playing out which pits the fossil fuel industry against the interest of New Yorkers, working to enact a statewide ban on gas in new NYS construction.

Environmental groups and elected officials called for an end to the influence of the fossil fuel industry in Albany and for the passage of the NY All-Electric Building Act.
