1. New York-based company Regeneron Pharmaceuticals is creating 500,000 much-needed test kits for the State at no charge. The first batch of test kits were delivered on Monday and the State will receive an ongoing delivery of 25,000 kits per day. Additionally, Corning has donated 100,000 tubes and provided an additional 500,000 tubes to the State at reduced cost and expedited delivery.
2. New York City playgrounds will close because they have been too crowded. Open spaces in New York City will remain open for fresh air and sun — but you must stay six feet apart from others.
3. The Department of Labor released a new PSA to help New Yorkers applying for unemployment benefits. The PSA provides information on how to apply for UI benefits and reassures New Yorkers: If your unemployment filing is delayed, you will still receive every cent you are owed. 4. Happy Census Day. Today, every New Yorker must now respond to the Census. Responding to the Census is simple, safe, private and can be done online from your own home. Let's make sure every New Yorker is counted. Complete the Census today at my2020census.gov.

New York City residents can call the ASPCA Helpline at 1-800-738-9437 for information and appointments.
