- Ten Democratic Presidential Candidates took the stage in Miami for the first of two nights of debates. On stage were New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, Rep. Tim Ryan (Ohio), former HUD secretary Julián Castro, Sen. Cory Booker (N.J.), Sen. Elizabeth Warren (Mass.), former Texas congressman Beto O’Rourke, Sen. Amy Klobuchar (Minn.), Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (Hawaii), Washington Gov. Jay Inslee and former Maryland congressman John Delaney. The debate was carried by NBC News, Telemundo and MSNBC and had about 15 million viewers.
