—Dwayne Jeune shot dead by police officer Miguel Gonzolez calls into question how police are responding to requests for help for New Yorkers experiencing emotional distress.  

—Quinnipiac University poll shows Mayor Bill de Blasio's approval rating has plummeted. It also shows that New Yorkers give Donald Trump an exceptionally low approval rating, with 79-18% disapproving of the job he is doing. Trump’s stance on healthcare isn’t helping his approval ratings. He wants to let Obamacare implode by ending required payments to insurers.

—We hear from Representative Carolyn Maloney and Assemblymember Richard Gottfried who took part in a health care roundtable at Bellevue Hospital today, along with Peter Morely, a New Yorker with healthcare challenges who spoke out about the value of the Affordable Care Act. Also, we look at what the effect would be if Trump made good on his threat to pull required payments to insurers.

—Despite criticism and condemnation from the U.S. and its regional allies, Venezuelans woke up Monday to a new Constituent Assembly that many say may dramatically reshape that South American nation's government.  We have a report from WBAI's Sally O'Brien and Gilda Gil of Havana's Prensa Latina News Service reports on the 64th anniversary of the Cuban Revolution.
