Settlement Ensures Refugee Children Can Go to High School in Utica

The NYCLU and Legal Services of Central New York announced a settlement with the Utica school district and the Refugee center in Utica. It resolves a year long case which alleged that the school district had been excluding refugees and immigrants age 17-20 from the only high school in Utica, which is in the Mohawk Valley upstate New York.
