1. Staten Island District Atty. Dan Donovan (Rep.) who obtained NO INDICTMENT OF ERIC GARNER'S KILLERS wants to go to Congress. He, Vincent Gentile (Dem.) and James Lane (Green) each want to replace Michael Grimm who was forced to resign in December after pleading guilty to tax fraud charges.

Residents of 11th Congressional District -- Staten Island and part of Brooklyn -- can vote.

2. The increasingly gentrifying neighborhoods of Crown Heights and Lefferts Gardens are electing a NYS assembly-person to replace Karim Camara who has been appointed to a statewide position. There are 3 Democrats - none of whom are on the Democratic party line - and one Republican/Conservative candidate.
