NYC Council Member Helen Rosenthal put forth a resolution declaring the City of New York a "TPP-Free Zone." It urges Congress to oppose the Bipartisan Congressional Trade Priorities and Accountability Act of 2015 and not grant President Obama "fast-track" authority over, or permission to sign, the Trans-Pacific Partnership free trade agreement.  

Actvists went to City Hall to testify in favor of the resolution. Among them the Raging Grannies, Olive Freud, Reverend Stephen Phelps and Joel Kupferman.
