NYC Council Hearing on Facilities and Solitary at Rikers

On Tuesday, the New York City Council’s Committee on Fire and Criminal Justice Services heard testimony from Commissioner Ponte with the Department of Corrections, and Commissioner Nigro with the Fire Department. The Committee is investigation how the agencies are run, and the help they can offer.
