This Sunday marks the 67th anniversary of the dropping of the Atomic Bomb on Hiroshima, Japan - followed by the Atomic bombing of Nagasaki.
Numerous commemoration events are being planned including one at Union Square in Manhattan where organizers with the Universal Peace Initiative will lead a bell ringing ceremony to mark the day universally remembered as the dawn of the nuclear age. Su Zen is the Initiative's director - she spoke to WBAI's Jose Santiago.
