NYCHA Upgrades!

Mayor Bill de Blasio said despite federal neglect, the city needs to shore up and strengthen the New York City Housing Authority.

He rolled out a city-wide plan to reduce crime in 15 of the most troublesome NYCHA complexes. They make up 20 percent of the violent crime across 334 housing authority developments.

In this report you'll hear about the de Blasio administration's  “right now plan” for fixing many NYCHA problems. They include providing positive, creative alternatives for young people who live in the projects.
