Today City Comptroller Scott Stringer announced that he approved the settlement in the Central Park Five case. The next step is for the Federal Judge Deborah A. Batts to approve the deal. While the Judge's clerk said they hadn't received papers on Thursday, Central Park Five Constitutional Lawyer Jonathan Moore says he expects the Judge will sign off on the agreement.

Meanwhile there’s a news conference on Friday for the Central Park Five, for Raymond Santana, Yusef Salaam, Corey Wise, Kevin Richardson and Antron McCray who have been waiting for justice for twenty-five years. The news conference is at 11am on the steps of City Hall.
