The Struggle to Free All Political Prisoners was the subject of a panel at the Left Forum in New York City on Sunday.
Lynne Stewart was there speaking about her prison experience. "It's a miserable thing to be in prison. It's not that it gets easier. It's not that you've been in five years and the sixth year is easier. It's always hard." she said.
Stewart starts off talking about the victory of Larry Davis and the euphoria at the time. Davis was acquitted by a Bronx jury of the attempted murder of nine police officers in a blazing shootout in 1986.
Take a listen.
