The Colorado shooting has generated widespread calls for gun control legislation ranging from a renewed ban on assault weapons to a crackdown on internet sales of ammunition.

In New York City today, several federal elected officials announced legislation they say will make ammunition sales safer.  WBAI's Rebecca Myles was at City Hall for the announcement and files this report
