Innocent New Jersey Man Released From Prison
- New Jersey 10/30/2013 by Linda Perry Barr (WBAI News)

Gerard Richardson was released from a New Jersey prison last night after serving 19 years  for a murder he didn’t commit.

The Innocence Project which seeks to free wrongly convicted people, obtained DNA test results which removed the only physical evidence the state used to convince a jury of Richardson's guilt.  He now gets to be with his 78 year old mom and his brother and sister.  He claimed his innocence since the 1995 conviction.
