A new Quinnipiac poll estimates that 56 percent of likely Democratic voters support Eliot Spitzer. This gives Spitzer a 19-Point lead over Scott Stringer. A Quinnipiac poll on July 25th had them closer. Then it was Sptizer 49 -- Stringer 45. Now after two television debates, the margin widens. Among women, men and blacks Spitzer leads. Quinnipiac's Maurice Carroll said “Everyone seems to be against former Gov. Eliot Spitzer, except the voters, especially black voters.” Caroll said “Spitzer’s history as ‘Client 0’ is a legit issue, voters think, but they don’t think it disqualifies him from running."
