City Council Members gathered with activists and youth who have been profiled to denounce Mayor Bloomberg for vetoing the Community Safety Act Bills which would provide new oversight of the New York Police Department. Council Members vow to override the Mayor’s vetoes. WBAI’s Linda Perry was at City Hall and filed this report.
